Seriously, did i have such a bad luck in travelling? I would never forget how the school trip failed me when i was in secondary 3. I remembered vividly that i had suffered from a massive chicken pox attack just a few days away from a japan trip. Supposedly, that should me my first time boarding a plane. Well, i still remembered my band teacher, Ms Cheh then, she had actually booked the Singapore Airlines! GOD, how i wish i could board the Singapore Airlines since it is well-known for it's services. However, i missed it. The chicken pox failed me. Thinking back, i find myself abit foolish to cry in front of Mr Er. I just could not stop pleading. I tried my very best to persuade him in letting me go to japan, but still, who is he to permit me? Indeed there is this saying: no point crying over spilled milk. This will be etched in my memory forever.
Deja vu
Currently, i am encountering a similar situation. Of course, i am not suffering from chicken pox this time. The problem is not with me this time? The situation in Bangkok is very bad. How bad is it exactly? You just have to read the newspaper today and you will realise that the Airport is closed. There are about 2000 Singaporeans being trapped in Bangkok. Many Singaporeans have either cancelled their trip, postponed it or changed their destinations. Even the MFA is encouraging Singapore not to go there. For more details, please read the news or listen to the radio.
How am i feeling now?
Seriously, let's assume that the agony i had suffered for japan trip to be X. The agony that i might be suffering for Chiang Mai trip would be 0.25X. In fact, i feel sad for the teachers.
I feel that it would be a pity if we are not allowed to go Chiang Mai. The teachers have really put in alot of efforts to plan this ''FEEL'' trip. They have their best intention for us in each and every things that they have organised. I really appreciate them.I believe that we should let nature takes it's course. Somethings are not supposed to be forced. If the teachers said that they would cancel our trip because Bangkok is very dangerous, then fair enough, i will face it. This is not the first time, anyway. If the teachers believe that we still can travel at our own risks, fair enough, i will go. I really hope to ''FEEL''. No more crying baby this time=). I just feel quite interesting that out of these 10 countries that have been offered for Global Classroom Experience, i have chosen Chiang Mai; the only trip that might be cancelled. No matter what the outcome is, i believe i will respect the teachers decision. No more recklessness from Miss Chan=)
Still, i hope that my trip on the 29th November would be a smooth and safe one=)
SPENDER
I was so guilty! My sister said that i looked like a princess when i was trying on this particularly dress. Damn it! It costs me$50! I brought a pair of shoes too! I am not always like that! hehe!
